The 's' stands for Set *ID. If it's in the first set (-rwsr-xr-x), it's
"Set UID". If it's in the second set (-rwxr-sr-x), it's "Set GID".
The idea being to assume the UID or GID of the owner when using that
file. Since in your case it's on a directory, it means (Whenever you
write files into this directory, write them with the same GID as this
directory). Useful if you've got a user with a different default group
and you want to force them to use the dir's group when writing files.
