Yup.

Use the -x option with fetch. This is actually not too clever because
the amount of rollback needed depends on the traffic per group; therefore,
a rollback of 100 articles will be ample in a group with little traffic
but barely enough in a high-traffic group. However, setting maxage to
something sensible as well will prevent the worst, i.e. getting really
outdated articles.
