Yuck. In the near future every article will have a different username/
password, I am sure.

I don't think that this is possible without larger hacks, either to the
source of leafnode or by employing some wrappers. (What happens to the
postings that are not posted properly? Do they end up in
/var/spool/news/failed.postings/ ?)
