[leafnode-list] Can't Connect to localhost

I'm having trouble having PINE connect to my local NNTP server. It tells
me "Can't Connect to localhost,119" Yet it connected just fine yesterday!

inetd.conf is running.
I'm useing SuSE 6.2

The relevent line in inetd.conf
nntp	stream	tcp	nowait	news	/usr/sbin/tcpd	/usr/sbin/leafnode

The line in hosts.allow
Leafnode: localhost

The line in hosts.deny
leafnode: ALL EXCEPT LOCAL

and in nntpserver
localhost

Suggestions welcome.
