[leafnode-list] Netscape+Leafnode

When I try the command  "subscribe to newsgroups ..." on the server
127.0.0.1
I obtain the message :

"An error occurred with News server
 if you are unable to connect again, contact the administrator
 of this server . "

Now, I followed all instrucitons of INSTALL  file
(leafnode-1.9.6.tar.gz) ,
but the problem persist :(
I' ve just downloaded the /var/spool/news/leaf.node/groupinfo file
with the command fetchnews -f -vvv
Anyone can help me ?
