[leafnode-list] 1.9.9 compile error

i have been using leafnode 1.9.7 for a while and i had some free time so i 
thought i would go up to 1.9.9
well it doesnt want to compile for me i saw no errors running configure but 
here is the make part

[root@jlmr leafnode-1.9.9]# make

well now any hints or clues to what may be wrong would be great.
