[leafnode-list] .overview files are not updated

Hi everyone,

I've got a problem with leafnode, version 1.9.10; it appears that the
overview files for some groups at least are not updated correctly.

The problem first showed last Monday; I lost the connection to my ISP
while downloading new articles with fetchnews. I didn't restart
fetchnews, and instead just reconnected; fetchnews continued to run, but
after it was done, it seemed like most articles from the newsgroups I am
subscribed to had vanished, including a large number of unread ones.
They reappeared in some newsgroups on the next day (I suspect texpire as
a reason, but I'm not sure), but there's still trouble; some new
articles still don't appear and fetchnews segfaults from time to time (I
haven't been able to work out circumstances under which this happens,
tho).

I tried to see if I could find something that could possibly be wrong
with leafnode's spool; the only thing I found was the fact that the
overview files don't seem to contain all the articles for some groups
at least.

Is there any way to rebuild these files from the articles themselves? As
for fetchnews' segfaults, here is a part of the log (with debugmode
enabled):

After this, fetchnews segfaulted. I am running leafnode on linux 2.2.14,
with glibc 2.1 and egcs 2.91.66. If you need any additional information,
just tell me. TIA!
