[leafnode-list] Running texpire.

Hi, there.
When cron is running texpire as news i get this error message:
[news@luke news]$ /usr/local/sbin/texpire                 
Reading configuration failed, exiting (see syslog for more information).
[news@luke news]$ 

The trouble is that i have no syslog. And even if i create a syslog file in
/var/log i dont get any error messages.
Have anyone got an idea about how to solve this problem ???
running leafnode 1.9.12 upgraded from 1.6.2
