[leafnode-list] fetchnews gets new posts "backwards"

Hi all!

First off let me mention that I am new to this list. Thanks in advance
to all for every bit of info they are giving on the list.

Let me also apologize if the following question has already been asked
and answered. I've tried to look at the FAQ and at parts of the archive
but to no avail.

When getting news with fetchnews, the postings are fetched "backwards"
that is the newest new post is fetched and given the first available
message ID the second-newest fetched and given the next avail. ID etc
...

I know that I can just setup the newsreader to sort the posts on their
timestamps but that eliminates the threads feature of many readers. Have
I missed a config or commandline option?
