You didn't ask me, but I will answer, though.
IMO you should release after every single bug fixed which does not only
improve cosmetic things.

If you have to read fewer bug reports you will have more time for writing
leafnode 2.x.

BTW: Do you plan to release a beta of leafnode 2.x before the actual release
     to test it on more machines?
     If then some bugs are found you can say it was declared beta ;-)))
