Actually, I'm referring to the messages that go to stdout when using the "-v" (or "-vv" or "-vvv" etc.) flags to `fetchnews'. I believe that there should be an `fflush(stdout)' after writing each these messages. I redirect these to a log file, and the "tail -f" that I do to this log file doesn't work well, because stdout isn't buffered.
