fetchnews -f overwrites the timestamps in groupinfo. Can this be
fixed? 

And BeroList doesn't escape single dots on a line...

I also just noted that an empty line in local.groups leads to a 

LIST
215 Newsgroups in form "group high low flags".
 0000000000 0000000000 y
24hoursupport.helpdesk 0000000001 0000000001 y

Should be fixed as well.
