I'm sorry, but will we need debugmode=2. Can you change that in
the config and post the debug log again?

The local.groups directory is obsolete and should be deleted.

Good. Looks like the local hierarchy was created.

This shouldn't be here. Did you create by hand?

Oops, not good. There should be directories numbered from 000 to
999. These should be created by make install. Can you check the
output of make install to see if these are created, and to see if
you get an error message if not.

Hope this helps a bit. I'm very interested in a more verbose
