I have upgraded to the package you have suggested below.  Leafnode still
doesn't post any of the messages sent to the server.  Once last night I saw
a message in the out.going folder.  But it disappeared quickly.
/var/log/messages show's nothing out of the ordinary regarding leafnode.  I
just show's accepted connections.  No posting's or anything.  Can anyone
think of anything else I should be looking at or trying?  Thanks,

Sorry for the confusion I caused by not looking closely. 2.0b8 has a
broken local group handling, Jörg Dietrich wrote a patch and sent it to
the list, I merged that patch into 2.0b8_ma2.

May I ask you to try leafnode-2.0b8_ma2? leafnode 2.0b9 will not be out
before Mid March.
