* I reported this some months ago but couldn't find that in the TODO
  file.  Your "ma" versions don't understand the groupexpire switch in
  the filters file,  Cornelius' 2.0b8 does.

  Yes.

* Opening groups (using Oort Gnus) with your latest version is
  remarkably slower than with Cornelius' 2.0b8 and creates a lot more
  disk I/O.  This is what Gnus' NNTP logging output tells me:
