[leafnode-list] Failed to unlink messages

I get a log of these 'failed to unlink'  messages in my system logs
e.h.
fetchnews[1848]: Failed to unlink rec.games.video.arcade: 
		 4: No such file or directory

is it failing to translate rec.games.video.arcade to rec/games/video/arcade
or is there another cause?
