[leafnode-list] 2.08b: Unknown reply to XOVER command

I hope this hasn't been asked before, but a quick search of the archive 
didn't reveal anything *immediately* obvious.

I recently upgraded from leafnode 1.9.19 to 2.08b. I realise now that I may 
have upgraded using the "make update" option (for versions < 1.9.3) which 
resorts the groupinfo file, but removing the groupinfo file just causes 
leafnode to rebuild it, so I don't think this is the problem.

The issue is leafnode is not collecting any articles from one of my servers. 
Because it's my ISP's server, and the only one I can access which has binary 
groups, this is a bit of a pain.

It gives the error message: "Unknown reply to XOVER command". Is there any 
way I can configure the version 2 beta of leafnode to work with this 
newsserver..? I presume there is some way to compile or configure fetchnews 
to be more verbose in it's output - please let me know if this is necessary.

I apologise if the length of this post is excessive for this mailing list - I 
am torn between being sensibly concise & providing necessary information.
