I never noticed that problem on FreeBSD 4.5. Which FreeBSD version have
you been using that that time? I'm only testing on current versions.
On a side note, don't use 9rc1 if a 9 version without "pre" or "rc" is
there.
Anyhow, that particular bug got fixed in 10pre1 and was labeled as MacOS
X portability fix, because MacOS X seems to not have search.h -- and I
was (as it worked on my FreeBSD box) unaware of FreeBSD build problems.
Please try 10pre3. Get it from where you got 9rc1. :-)
