The other way round: they connected to you. (leafnode makes no
connections, only fetchnews does).

Please fix your inetd or xinetd configuration to use tcpd. Instructions
are provided with leafnode (in the INSTALL document) as well as with
tcp_wrappers (tcpd is part of this package).
