Subject: [leafnode-list] 1.9.24 - Compilation error w/ pcre

I just downloaded the source for 1.9.24 and tried to compile it on my redhat 6.2 system. After compiling PCRE that was included in the tarball I attempted compiling leafnode. Everything went well until the following error during make.

Thanks for your help.

Hello David,

I haven't tried using the PCRE that is included. You can get PCRE RPMs from www.rpmfind.net. I just rebuild the source rpm from RawHide (second on the list when you search for PCRE). If you need a copy of the binary RPM that have been built on RH 6.2, let me know.

After getting the PCRE installed, you shouldn't have any trouble with leafnode. In fact you can make it an RPM too, by doing a "rpm -ta leafnode-1.9.24.rel.tar.gz". I've got a binary RPM built for that too if you want it.

HTH,

William
