[leafnode-list] Fetchnews checks all servers for all groups (1.9.27.rel)

I upgraded to 1.9.27.rel just now, and on my first run I noticed that 
"fetchnews -vv" appeared to be asking all the servers for all the groups 
- - some of the servers I use carry private groups which I don't want other 
servers to be asked about.

As far as I know this didn't used to happen - or is it the case that it 
has always done this and that it has just started to tell me about it?

I've had a scan back through the FAQ and archives and can't see anything 
which appears to relate. 

Any thoughts, advice or pointers to where I've misread something would be 
appreciated.
