The hang wasn't reproducable as such, when it hung I could disconnect, 
reconnect and get the article in question without problem and get a few 
more from the same group before the next hang.

I was reading alt.irc, and the posts were probably wildly crossposted 
to various groups under alt.irc.*

This is not the first time I've had troubble with that group, a day 
last month someone apparently create alt.irc.42, which leafnode didn't 
particulary like, as it tried treating the directory as an article and 
not another group... rmdir is such a handy tool though.

I am testing the the patch now, so far no 100% cpu, however, leafnode 
did suddenly die on me. Will see if it was just a fluke or something 
related... Does leafnode dump core if it crashes, and where?
