[leafnode-list] Cannot obtain lock file, aborting.

Hello,

Some days ago, I sent an email to this mailing-list about a problem I had with 
the lock file. You advised me to update to a recent version. That's what I 
did, and I now use this version: leafnode 1.9.27.
When trying to fetch the news (/usr/local/sbin/fetchnews), I have the 
following error message:
Cannot obtain lock file, aborting.

That happens with both users root and news.
I tried to chmod -R 755 /usr/lock/news but that changed nothing.

What should I do?
