I just released leafnode-2.0.0.alpha20021229a. It is available from
http://mandree.home.pages.de/leafnode/beta/

Multiple timeouts in a single run of fetchnews are now properly
detected, thanks to a fix contributed by Richard van der Hoff.

Articles posted to moderated groups no longer show up in local groups
before they have been approved, bug found by Jörg Dietrich. (They showed
up locally prematurely when fetchnews or texpire or applyfilter was
running at the time that article was posted.)

Portability has been improved.
