[leafnode-list] injecting e-mail into out.going?

Hi all,

Further to my earlier request regarding a mail to news gateway, 
I've learned that I can cause an e-mail message to be posted to 
Usenet if I:

 1) export the mail message
 2) add the Newsgroups: header
 3) run it through unix2dos
 4) change owner and permissions
 5) move it to the out.going directory

My question is, what is the naming scheme used by leafnode when it
places new posts into the out.going folder, and how do I name the
messages I want to gateway to avoid causing problems when I inject
them?
