I am trying to download from amongst other newsgroups
alt.os.linux.mandrake.  This is a NG that is very busy, with up to 150
to 200 new posts a day.  Yet leafnode keeps telling me that there are no
new messages to download.  The placeholder file in Knode is marked as
read. Surely the problem here is somewhere in leafnode rather than in
the newsreader, wouldn't you say?

I tried Pan, and there is no difference than with Knode.  I would rather
use Knode, I don't like the way Pan displays and handles messages.

I am using Knode version 0.7.2 with KDE version 3.1.0 running under
Mandrake 9.1
