[leafnode-list] Posting failures

Hi, I don't seem able to post successfully at the moment.  I'm running:

/usr/sbin/fetchnews -vvvv -l -P

The log file reports:

leafnode 1.9.43.rel: verbosity level is 4
Trying to connect to <server>co.uk:nntp ... connected.
Using STAT <message-ID> command on this server.
<server>co.uk: 0 articles posted
Disconnected from <server>co.uk.

And syslog has these entries:

Oct 12 10:00:04 milo fetchnews[24031]: connected to <ip address>:119, reply:
200
Oct 12 10:00:05 milo fetchnews[24031]: <server>co.uk: 0 articles posted

I suspect the problem is with the server, but the error messages from
fetchnews aren't very helpful!  Is there a way of finding out what the
server is returning?
