I just started reading this list through gmane.org (see
http://www.gmane.org/). I use leafnode+ (and intend to switch to
leafnode 2.0.0-alpha) to gather news.gmane.org posts on my laptop.

A mailing-list + gmane.org gives us the best of both worlds
(especially if you consider that gmane.org keeps articles forever!)

Matthias, do not forget to have gmane.org switch to the new list
address when you move it though (it will be a transparent operation
for users of gmane.org :-).
