20040206a: Changes since 20040129a:
+ Feature: sanity check at initialization, to avoid operating on a bogus
spooldir after updates.
+ Cleanup: try to post article to all servers. Only when all servers
could be reached, we consider moving the article to failed.postings.
Based on a patch by Hynek Schlawack.
+ Cleanup: do not log "article discarded" when it's already available
upstream.
+ Bugfix: -S server.name works again. Broken since 20040116a.
+ Bugfix: some signedness fixes in printf (%lu vs. %ld).
+ Cleanup: some dead code has been removed.
+ Portability: Exclude SETVBUF_REVERSED check on Intel C++.
