Apart from filtering file size, you might be able to filter out all
articles that match:

^Content-Type:.*(application|image|audio|video)/

Particularly in leafnode-1. Does that work for you?

Other than that, you can use only_groups_pcre to weed out the binaries
from your group list. (Run fetchnews -f after changing that option.)
