after a complete clean re-install, seems to work, i've telneted to 
leafnode server :

then my first mistake was to use "localhost" instead of lan router IP 
"192.168.3.1"

for now, i'm able, using MacSOUP to read a least the whole list of 
groups from de three nntp servers.

a question is remaining of why leafnode goes down after a time ?
