The duplication of the announcement is an artifact of the switch to the
DARCS repository (used to be CVS), to be fixed for the next release.
Please apologize.

For a crash guide to the leafnode-2 DARCS repository, see

DARCS is available from http://darcs.net/ and requires GHC (the Glasgow
Haskell Compiler) and GNU make to compile -- this takes a while because
GHC is rather slow (but is said to produce fast code in return); I can
offer SuSE Linux 9.2 binaries for i386, but you'll also find links to
binaries at the DARCS home page.

leafnode-1 will remain in a CVS repository as only few and minor changes
are expected.
