[leafnode-list] Are expiry times controllable for local groups?

Does the "groupexpire" parameter affect local groups?

I'd like the articles in some of my local groups to live longer than
the articles in others, and I'm hoping that someone can confirm that
"groupexpire" indeed works for local groups in the same way that it
works for foreign groups.
