I don't get news from today, leafnode says this:

Does your computer have ECC memory? (I. e. server-class or
workstation-class hardware?) If it does not, and if it this doesn't
reproduce after a reboot, I'm not going to debug this.

news.t-online.de: connecting to port nntp

 connected: address 62.153.159.134 port 119.
secnews.netscape.com: connecting to port nntp
 trying: address 204.29.187.156 port 119...
 connected: address 204.29.187.156 port 119.

Something caused fetchnews to proceed to the next server.
Please check the logs if you find more hints than the screen dump, or
add an -e option to your fetchnews command.

The error is simple:
I changed from T-Online to 1&1. As I get into DSL by the 1&1-data, T-online denies access to news.t-online.de. Of course my T-online account is still active, but T-online cannot know that.

I use now news.einsundeins.com, it's working.

(The same happened with smtprelay.t-online.de)

thanks

Werner
