I have checked all my logging inside /var/log/news/ directory, but there is
nothing that will indicate relation to this problem. In this directory I
have these files:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root news 1232 2007-03-03 16:56 news.crit
-rw-r--r-- 1 root news 6835 2007-03-03 18:31 news.err
-rw-r--r-- 1 root news 4858090 2007-03-18 09:00 news.info
-rw-r--r-- 1 root news 11511 2007-03-03 19:30 news.notice

news.crit news.err and news.notice has only some logs from the first time I
installed leafnode and fetchnews. Nothing related to this problem.

news.info has everything that fetchnews does. Only strange inside is this:

Mar 18 04:30:14 ubuntu fetchnews[3597]: store: hr.comp.mreze.bezicne: stale
water marks, trying to fix

It's not always on the same newsgroup. It's just like random.

And sometimes i see this:

Mar 18 03:00:01 ubuntu fetchnews[3474]: erased stale pid 3436 host
ubuntu.apartmani-cakelic.hr lockfile /var/spool/news/leaf.node/lock.file

everything else is perfectly normal, where fetchnews is fetching artices.

Well, I have noticed this morning that Claws Mail has fetched some articles
from leafnode. I will see what happens during this day.
