[leafnode-list] leafnode-2: fetchnews always says "0 articles posted"

does this happen to anybody else? to speed up posting without
downloading articles or unsubscribing from any newsgroups, i use
"fetchnews -vvv -n -P". it always reports the number of articles posted
on every server to be "0 articles posted":

i don't know why this doesn't work, but the server posted to was
news.mediascape.de and its reply was "240 Article posted
<20070531221654.GA3698@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>".
