I just released leafnode 2.0b8_ma8rc6_jack_frost.

I hope to release 2.0b8_ma8 after doing maybe one more 2.0b8_ma8rc
release.

Highlights:

- - "filter parsing done right" (state machine) without changing the
  syntax -- comes with better error detection and reporting.

- - the fetchnews segfault when server just dies after receiving
  ARTICLE should be gone now

Shadows:

- - refuses to work with nntpcache v2.3* - on the bonus side, this saves
  you from unnecessary downloads of "new newsgroups" which is dreadfully
  slow.

	* fetchnews.c: No longer segfault when receiving EOF instead of an
	article.  Abort the fetch if ARTICLE is replied to with 5XX or

	returned by chdirgroup.  Let main detect error conditions returned
	by readfilter and refuse operation in that case.

	* nntputil.c: Refuse to work with servers that have NNTPcache V2.3
	in their greeting. NNTPcache v2.3.3 is still in widespread use,
	but has severe Y2k bugs. This should direct inquiries to the
	proper address.
