Just for the record - this works, dropping an RFC-compliant message in
out.going and running fetchnews sends the message.

But as Doug wrote, it's /writing/ the message correctly that is the hard
part.

There's a Python program here <https://github.com/blippy/soul> that generates a message, it's a starting point, at least.

The program scans a newsfroup, puts collected links into a message and posts it.
