Hi,

since a few days I have a strange problem. The groupinfo file doesn't
get updated any more. This was first with 1.9.15, then to be sure I
updated to 1.9.18, same problem.

- debug log shows nothing strange
- articles get fetched and stored normally
- disk is not full
- groupinfo is writeable by news.news
- I reduced my groupinfo file to contain only subscribed groups - same
problem
- no changes in config (besides debugmode=1)

Any ideas?
What additional info could I prepare?

BTW in the mean time I hacked a Perl script to do the update of
subscribed groups, but I would really like to know what's going on.
