There you go:

* Migrate 1.9.18ma4 syslog format string bugfixes into 1.9.19. (I don't
  recall which there were, I'm not tracking 1.9 with CVS, but am willing
  to recompile 1.9.18 with FreeBSD to get a current list of format
  string warnings).

* Discard any fgets that might be left. Buggy by design; as a fix, usurp
  1.9.18ma4 getline and getaline.

Not meeting "no ... new features" criterion:

* Migrate fetchnews XOVER support into main tree.



Please, make no assumptions as to when 2.0 final can come out, the list
of major showstoppers is non-empty.
