[leafnode-list] nntp-error (rights)

Another question to leafnode-installation.
I had the problem that I got not get the groups by server (cannot read
the configuraiton file).

Now I was driving arounf by car and thinking:
Perhaps it's the rights.

Now, at home, I see: root  root
I changed all files in /etc/leafnode to news news

Is this correct?
After the change client could read again!

 is root news
. is root root

I think that . should be news news, but I am not sure.
What ist correct???
