Well, pan doesn't work with delaybody mode and you cannot really tell it
not to cache everything, you can only tell it to use a tiny cache on the
order of a few kB.
If you have a Pan client (or more than one), you'll need to set
delaybody = 0 in leafnode.
I filed a bug report about the incompatibility ages (2½ years) ago, but
the Pan guys didn't bother to even look at it:
